Privacy
The short version: we use your ad platform logins to show and manage your campaigns. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads on you. The details are below.

Who we are
Brasier is a tool for managing ads on Meta, Google and X, operated from Quebec, Canada. Questions about your personal information go to privacy@brasier.net, which reaches the person responsible for protecting personal information at Brasier.
What we collect
Waitlist and contact: the name and email address you send us, and when you sent them.
Signing in with Meta, Google or X: your name, profile picture, the id that platform uses for your login, and the access token we need to act within the permissions you approve. Google sign-in also gives us your email address.
Ad account data: the campaigns, ad sets, ads, budgets, spend and results of the accounts you connect. We read this from the platform when you open a page. We keep brief temporary copies so we stay within the platforms' rate limits, and we don't build a long-term archive of your campaign data.
Feedback: if you use the feedback box, we keep your note, the page you were on, your language and your account name.
Technical data: your IP address, browser and basic request details appear in our server logs, which we use for security and to fix problems.
Cookies and storage
We set a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds a random id, never your platform credentials, which stay on our servers. We also set a cookie that remembers your language, and your browser stores your light or dark theme choice.
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run Brasier: show your accounts, and make the changes you ask for, like creating, editing or pausing a campaign. We send a platform only what you tell us to send. We also use your details to reply to you, keep the service secure, and improve the product.
We never sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Data from Google and Meta
Brasier's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide the features you see in Brasier. We don't transfer it to others except to run the service or comply with the law, we don't use it for advertising, and our people only read it with your consent, to investigate abuse or security issues, or when the law requires.
Data we receive from Meta is used only to provide Brasier to you, in line with Meta's Platform Terms. We use data from X the same way.
Who we share it with
The ad platforms you connect, because that is how Brasier works. The companies that host and run Brasier for us, including Cloudflare. And authorities, if the law requires it.
Our providers may process data outside Quebec and Canada. When that happens, we take steps so your information stays protected to a standard comparable to Quebec law.
How long we keep it
Your session ends after 30 days. When you disconnect a platform, we remove its token right away and, where the platform allows it, revoke it. Waitlist and contact details stay until you ask us to remove them. Feedback stays as long as it helps us improve Brasier, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email privacy@brasier.net from the address you used with us. We aim to reply within 30 days.
To delete everything tied to your sign-in, disconnect each platform in settings and email us to confirm. You can also remove Brasier's access from inside Meta, Google or X at any time.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Security
Your platform credentials are kept on our servers and never in your browser. Connections use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so if an incident puts your information at risk, we will tell you as the law requires.
Who this is for
Brasier is built for businesses and advertisers and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and its date. For significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
